Now You can Use Amazon Alexa on Your Smartphone

Amazon is starting to roll out its smart assistant Alexa to all the smartphones out there amid Google Assistant and Siri. If you are a person who likes using Alexa enabled devices, then here’s the good news for you: You will be able to add another device, your cellphone to the Alexa lineup.

With this, you’ll be able to use Alexa as your smart assistant on iOS and Android phones. Now you will be able to wake Alexa on your smartphones by the ‘Wake-up Chant’ –Alexa.

However, there are snags. You can trigger the Alexa app only by using Google Assistant or Siri in the first place. Then onwards you can use voice commands and start talking. Secondly, Alexa can register your wake word only if your phone screen is on. As of right now, you have to tap on the Alexa icon from the bottom toolbar to speak with it.

Even if you haven’t received the feature there is no need to worry as they will roll out this feature to all the smartphones in the next few days. Also, make sure to update the Alexa app in order to use this feature effectively.
