Facebook Starts Rolling Out Dark Mode for Mobile App Users

Social Networking tycoon Facebook has started to roll out Dark Mode for the mobile app though few users globally have been able to spot Dark Mode support. The company had already rolled out this feature to the web version earlier in May. Facebook’s dark mode version is different from that of Instagram and WhatsApp as it’s not a jet black a grayscale design with white accent to its logos and icons in the UI. The tycoon has stated that dark mode is live only for a small number of users globally right now.

Facebook is a bit late in the game when it comes to bringing Dark Mode to its users. Users are sharing the screenshot of the Dark Mode option available in the settings page of the app in platforms like Twitter.

Reports say that the company has been working behind developing Dark Mode for its main platform on iOS and iPadOS since April.

Similar to the website, the dark mode in mobile makes the app faster by making its searching facility convenient to the user. Now searching for profile and videos have become much faster and convenient.
